A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (preferably including English and Maths), or a Level 2 Diploma at Merit grade.
Esports is the fastest growing sports industry. In 2019, it was worth £1 billion, and it is set to grow to £5 billion by 2026. You’ll study a range of topics, including Esports coaching, event management, livestream broadcasting, and business applications.
Our course tutors are specialists in their fields and have experience managing Esports events. This course is endorsed by the British Esports Association, meaning it is recognised by employers and supports entry into a range of industry roles.

• Esports skills, strategies and analysis
• Enterprise and entrepreneurship in the esports industry
• Health, wellbeing and fitness for esports players
• Producing an esports brand
• Games design
• Esports coaching

• Video production
• Business applications of esports in social media
• Shoutcasting
• Ethical and current issues in esports
• Launching your esports enterprise
• Computer networking
Your work will be continuously assessed throughout the course. This is based on assignments and projects that you will be asked to complete with set deadlines.
Due to the nature of the practical work undertaken on this course, students will be required to bring a minimum 1TB hard drive and a digital card reader.
You can join one of our teams, such as Rocket League, and compete across the UK in events hosted by the British Esports Association.
You can continue your learning after college by progressing to an apprenticeship or study at university.
The Esports Hub and Pro Gamer training facility is a professional standard facility designed to replicate a competitive gaming tournament stadium. It houses dedicated presenter and Shoutcaster spaces, in addition to the specialist workstations required to deliver a truly competitive environment. Competitive Societies Join one of our teams, such as the Rocket League, and compete across the UK in events hosted by the British Esports Association.
