The improving COVID situation means that we can revert to the usual format of subject timetables for A Levels. This approach will mean that you will have opportunities for independent study on campus, for social time with friends and for the provision of class-based subject support sessions.
We believe that these are crucial aspects of the college experience and the re-introduction of these elements will enhance your learning and enjoyment of your time with the college. This change to the timetable will mean that there will be some gaps in your timetable compared to the half-day structure last year, and the position of your lessons may well have moved - you will need to check your new timetable carefully when it’s available to download from ProPortal from 1 September.
The feedback that we received from students via the survey we conducted has been incorporated into the timetable structure for this academic year. We have kept some long lessons which were popular with lots of you, but we also have included some shorter sessions to provide space for other opportunities. We have returned to a consistent weekly timetable as well, so you will no longer have to remember which week is which! Thank you to all the students who participated in the survey about ideas for the new timetable.
