What does the course involve?
In order to prepare candidates for the AM2 assessment we provide a one-day refresher course that is based on the candidate self-assessment checklists.
The main areas covered will include:
- Safe isolation of supplies
- Cable and gland types used in the assessment.
- Testing procedures for initial verification.
- Completing test paperwork (EIC)
- Fault finding
There are other advantages to attending a training day, most candidates feel more relaxed and prepared having visited the college and familiarised themselves with transport arrangements, the campus layout, facilities and had the chance to meet centre staff before their assessment.
