Staff are educated to post-graduate level and beyond, with a wealth of current, industry experience. All our counselling tutors are current practitioners and are either members of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) or accredited members of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
We have dedicated counselling facilities as well as ‘breakout’ rooms to allow you to effectively practice the skills you are developing, and enable you to establish the basic foundations for entering the counselling profession or to supplement your existing professional practice. Our awards lead you to a professional counselling qualification and can be included towards BACP Accreditation.
Counselling students have gained employment with local and national companies such as Headway, Healthy Young Minds, and Drug & Alcohol Services. Other students have changed roles within their existing employment, which incorporates their counselling practice or set up their own private practice.
