This is an expanding business with an exciting opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Maintenance Apprentice.

Role Purpose:

  • Support the Operations function of the facility by attending machine / equipment breakdowns and working on facility improvements.
  • Improve the reliability of key machines by taking a pro-active approach to preventative maintenance activities.
  • Learn and attend in the execution of preventive maintenance activities
  • Work alongside a team of highly skilled Engineers to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and to identify opportunities and implement solutions, to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality
  • Requesting spare parts and placing orders according to maintenance process and recommendations
  • Develop skills for monitoring equipment conditions and restore operational basics
  • Develop skills for supporting operators during production to ensure the line is running properly
  • Helping in creating a clean and tidy environment around the machine
