The Academy offers industry-standard treatments and services for the students to learn all aspects of Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy.
You can book treatments with the students at a price that reflects that they are still in training, but with the reassurance that all services are overseen by experienced lecturers.
The Academy offers all of the treatments you would expect in a commercial salon. For example, we provide beard trims, facial massage, colour correction and creative cuts.
Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy students at the Academy regularly get involved in events to help out in the community or to raise money for charities.

All treatments are carried out by trainees under the supervision of our experienced and qualified lecturers.
Please be aware that some appointments may last longer than with an experienced professional.
All clients require a skin test 48 hours before hair colour application and eye treatments.
Due to the private nature of some treatments, children will not be permitted in the academy

I will study Music at Durham University and then do a PGCE as I would like to become a college Music teacher. This has been inspired by the great teachers at SCG and all the hard work they have put in to help me. I learnt composition and theory and truly developed my skills as a Musician. I play classical guitar and never thought I’d be able to consider it as a future career. I also take part in the MaDA performances and am a member of the college choir - these are great confidence builders.

I really enjoy music and wanted to go to a college where I could focus solely on that. I have learnt a lot at the College, the teaching is great and lessons are informative.
