Following the Welcome Evening on 24 September we would like to invite parents/carers of new students to the Tutor Consultation Evening.
Following the Welcome Evening on 24 September delivered by college Principal, James Staniforth, and Vice Principal: Students, Steve McAlinden, we would like to invite parents/carers of new students to the Tutor Consultation Evening.
This event is for parents/carers of new students who joined us in September 2024 and are based at the London Road Campus.
The event will take place at London Road Campus on Thursday, 3 October, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
This event will give parents/carers the chance to book a 10-minute appointment with the course tutor to discuss how their son/daughter is settling into college and to discuss any key course information.
Students can book these appointments directly with their tutor in class.
We recommend that parents/carers and students attend these events together since sharing opinions about students’ progress is particularly valuable at this stage.
Unfortunately, a few staff will be unavailable in the evening due to evening teaching commitments. If parents/carers would like to talk to a member of staff who is unavailable that evening, please contact the staff member directly or email Lucy Newton-Gullick, Head of Student Progress (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), to arrange alternative communication.
Senior staff will be available for consultation throughout the evening, and staff from Additional Learning Support, the Agency, and Student Services will also be available. Please contact the people detailed below if parents/carers have any queries in advance of the evening event:
