Who is it for?
This 2-day training course is designed for qualified and experienced domestic and commercial electrical workers. It is an ideal add-on for solar PV installers looking to assist their clients with the generation and storage of their own power while accessing the most attractive Smart Export tariffs.

Entry Requirements
Electricians qualified to Level 3 and 18th Edition Requirements in Electrical Installations BS7671: 2018.

What does the course involve?
The Level 3 Battery Storage training course covers the installation of dedicated Electricity Energy Storage Systems (EESS) in accordance with the IET code of Practice for EESS. It provides detailed theoretical and practical knowledge enabling candidates to apply the relevant regulations and guidance to work competently and safely on battery storage systems.
The course involves:
- practical training, including work on purpose-built battery storage rigs
- theory relating to health & safety, industry regulations and best practice

How is the course assessed?
At the end of the course candidates will undertake a practical, observed assignment and an online theory component.

Additional Notes
On completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 BPEC Certificate, which is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
