Who is it for?

This is for members of the public that want to learn basic plumbing skills that will benefit them in their own homes. There is no natural progression after this course, due to it being a leisure course.
Entry Requirements

An interest in learning general plumbing skills.
What does the course involve?

You will learn basic skills such as soldering, pipe bending and other methods of joining pipes. You will also learn how to drain down and remove radiators for decorating purposes. You will learn how to change taps, tap washers and ball valves along with basic guttering and general bathroom maintenance.
How much does it cost?

Tools and materials are provided but safety footwear will be required for practical lessons in the workshop.

If you are under 19 or haven’t lived in the UK for the last three years, please contact the college either in person or by phone on 01743 653333 between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am-4.30pm on Friday to discuss your options further.
You will be required to pay any course fees at the time of enrolment, so please ensure that you have your payment method ready.
