  • Who is it for?

If you are interested in developing your own rugby skills and performance, alongside the study of coaching and training, then this  BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Development (Rugby Pathway) is for you. Tactical skills, physiology, nutrition, coaching and sports performance are just some of the rugby-related subject areas that will be explored.

The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Development (Rugby Pathway) enables students to learn about the theory behind sport in great depth. It gives them the opportunity to gain experience for use in the work place or as a stepping stone to higher education, here at Shrewsbury College or within a wide range of other providers. The variety of subjects gives students the opportunity to study most areas of sport and allows them to decide which field they wish to work towards.
