Eligibility for FREE Level 2 Distance Learning Courses:

  • Be resident in England and live in a postcode area that is eligible for funding
  • Learners must be aged 19 years or over as of the current academic year
  • Have a Full Level 2 qualification if aged 19-23 (subject to a ULN check being undertaken)
  • Have lived in the EU for the last three years

The learning materials also include an assessment, which allows learners to demonstrate achievement of all learning outcomes associated with each unit.

  • Who is it for?

This qualification is designed to increase learners' awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects.

By completing the qualification, learners will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support progression onto other appropriate qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care sector. It could be useful to learners working in education settings.

  • Entry Requirements

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification.

  • What does the course involve?

The qualification is made up of four mandatory units:

    • Understand behaviour that challenges
    • Understand how to support positive behaviour
    • Understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges
    • Understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

The materials comprise a set of high-quality activity workbooks, which have been produced to suit a range of delivery methods. These materials have been officially endorsed by the relevant awarding organisation as meeting the requirements of the qualifications. Learners will be provided with all the necessary workbooks to complete the programme and will have the opportunity to work through a series of reflective tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process and test their knowledge.

This qualification could be what you need to improve your career prospects and get your ideal job, if you are unable to attend college on a regular basis. Distance Learning with Shrewsbury Colleges Group gives you more flexibility, allowing you to study where and when you want. All you need is a commitment, as Distance Learning is not necessarily an easy option, especially if you are already working full-time.
