Our courses are designed to meet the evolving roles in a wide range of therapy employment areas. We have been delivering Foundation Degree courses in these areas in partnership with universities for nearly 10 years.
Staff are educated to post-graduate level and beyond, with a wealth of current, industry experience. All our counselling tutors are current practitioners and are either members of BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) or accredited members of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
We have dedicated counselling facilities as well as ‘breakout’ rooms to allow you to effectively practice the skills you are developing, and enable you to establish the basic foundations for entering the counselling profession or to supplement your existing professional practice. Our awards lead you to a professional counselling qualification and can be included towards BACP Accreditation.
Counselling students have gained employment with local and national companies such as Headway, Healthy Young Minds (was CAMHS - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and Drug & Alcohol services. Other students have changed roles within their existing employment, which incorporates their counselling practice or set-up their own private practice.

You'll also get to know the topics you will cover on the course and the types of learning you will be using to complete the qualification.
