T Level Foundation Programme: Business

The T Level Foundation Programme provides a high-quality route onto T Levels for students who would benefit from the additional study time and preparation that it will give them before they start their T Level.  Our T Level Foundation Programme is a one-year course designed to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to support progression onto, and success on, a T Level.

You will need a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, preferably including maths and English language.

There is a T Level Foundation Programme to prepare you for each T Level subject area. You'll learn about the different T Levels within this subject area and their career opportunities, so that you can decide on the correct T Level for you.  

The college will be offering a Foundation Programme to allow students to move onto the following T Levels:

• Management and Administration T Level:  Business Support
• Management and Administration T Level:  Management & Leadership

Course Content
You will study a range of topics during the year:

- Principles of working in business
- The role of an administrator
- Social media for business
- Administration support
- Administration practices
- Communication in business
- Supporting the organisation of an event.

Upon the successful competition of the Foundation Programme for your preferred T Level route, you would then be expected to go onto study the T Level route of your choice.

T Levels have a broad range of potential progression outcomes. After T Levels, you could progress straight into a skilled job or continue your studies via an apprenticeship or higher technical qualification.
