Who is it for?
This course is suitable if you have a keen interest in massage therapy and wish to find employment as a therapist within salons, clinics, hotels, spas and cruise ships or set up your own business. This qualification will provide you with the skills to communicate with clients which will be developed by carrying out a range of treatments in our Academy salons. Development will be monitored to determine individual's learning plans, to identify goals and targets.

What does the course involve?
This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty massage therapist including : body massage, pre-blended aromatherapy, client care, stone therapy, health and safety, indian head massage.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and massage medium products. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide a variety of relaxing massage treatments using different techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

Additional Notes
You will take part in promotional activities: - pamper days, off site promotional work, attending trade events. External workshops:- Dermalogica skin products, Thai Massage Techniques, Hopi Ear Candling, Bamboo Massage and Lava Shell Massage.
