Each unit will be assessed by end of unit multiple-choice online tests supported with practical assessments throughout the year.

How much does it cost?
You will be expected to provide your own overalls, safety shoes and contribute to the cost of any additional enrichment activities.
If you are aged 19 or over, fees for tuition, exams and materials may be payable on enrolment.

Who is it for?
This course is ideal for those who want to work as plumbers or in other related disciplines in the building services engineering sector. The Level 2 qualification is a major step towards becoming a fully qualified plumber.

Entry Requirements
Internal progression students must have completed a Level 1 Plumbing course.
New students must have attained a minimum of grade 4 in GCSE Maths, English and Science.

What does the course involve?
The installation of copper pipe, radiators, cisterns, cylinders and sanitaryware. A combination of practical and theory-based work provides the footing needed to succeed in the plumbing industry. The course also forms part of the plumbing apprenticeship framework which can be used towards the completion of a full plumbing apprenticeship at Level 3.
