    Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment?

    This course is for gas engineers who are either wishing to extend their scope (INITIAL ASSESSMENT) or those looking to renew their existing certificate (RE-ASSESSMENT).

    The Assessment covers the following sectors (including CoNGLP1 PD which is mandatory):

    • Permanent Dwellings (CoNGLP1 PD)
    • Residential Park Homes (CoNGLP1 RPH)
    • Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (Caravans) (CoNGLP1 LAV)

     

    For Natural Gas to LPG Changeover, we offer a full package combining training and assessment. However, although candidates are strongly advised to attend our training day prior to assessment, training is not a prerequisite for undergoing the Assessment.

  • Entry Requirements

    All candidates must provide evidence of their current CCN1, which must be valid.

    Candidates for RE-ASSESSMENT should present details of their existing certificate if looking to renew.

    Candidates for INITIAL ASSESSMENT must present evidence of at least 12 months' Gas Safe Registration and appropriate documented evidence of working within that sector.
