Level 2 VTCT Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques

This is a varied programme and provides a nationally recognised qualification designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for success in Level 2 beauty specialist diploma. Excellent communication skills are essential, and you must be motivated and committed to the course. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Following completion of Level 2 beauty specialist you may wish to progress on to a Level 3 beauty route and this course will give you the experience to seek employment.

You will have a keen interest in beauty therapy and committed to the course. Be able to have additional time to study at home. Willing to perform treatments on the public.

The course will include a mixture of theory and practical skills. The knowledge acquired by the learner will enable them to understand the application of beauty treatments, consisting of client consultation, reception duties, anatomy and physiology, manicure, pedicure, facial skincare, make up application, eye treatments, waxing, health and safety. Your work will be assessed by observation in a working salon environment. There are online exams in each units and assignments.

This is a very intense course with a high expectation for students to study at home and practise the practical elements between sessions.

You will be required to purchase a kit and uniform. Order forms are available at enrolment.

You will gain a VTCT Level 2 beauty specialist diploma qualification. You will have the opportunity to attend in-house workshops and training seminars to enhance your programme of study.

There maybe occasions where you will need to attend extra sessions to complete reception duties.
