Who is it for?
This course is suitable if you have a keen interest in beauty therapy and wish to find employment as a Beauty Therapist or a Beauty Consultant within salons, clinics, hotels, spas and cruise ships. Working towards Level 3 Massage or Level 3 Make-Up after this programme would be the long-term goal but is not an automatic process. Progression and development will be monitored to determine individual learning plans and identify goals and options. Students will be required to have an informal discussion with the tutor and complete a trade assessment before acceptance to the Level 3 Beauty programme.
-
Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above are needed, preferably including English and Maths. Good communication and personal presentation skills and a keen interest in beauty therapy. Mature candidates will be exempt, depending upon experience.
