Who is it for?
This tutored sculpture class is ideal for those wanting to learn and improve, to build a portfolio or for beginners who would like to just have a go.

What does the course involve?
You will develop your understanding sculpting the human figure using clay. Working from a life model you will use a range of measuring systems to create terracotta sculpture (torso). Tutor demonstrations will provide you with the knowledge to use a range of modelling tools and building techniques, to enable you to complete a final sculpture in clay. The final pieces, studies, along with any maquettes will be fired in the following days after the last session and the tutor will arrange collection after this process has been completed.
