Who is it for?
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 19 and above, who wish to understand mental health in young children in early years (from birth to 5 years old) and the role of the Early Years Practitioner to support children's mental health and wellbeing. This is a knowledge-based qualification.

Entry Requirements
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they've already achieved a Level 2 qualification in an health, social care or mental-health related area.

What does the course involve?
The materials comprise a set of high-quality activity workbooks, which have been produced to suit a range of delivery methods. These materials have been officially endorsed by the relevant awarding organisation as meeting the requirements of the qualifications. Learners will be provided with all the necessary workbooks to complete the programme and will have the opportunity to work through a series of reflective tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process and test their knowledge.

- Unit 02 Understand the significance of attachment and adverse childhood experiences for young children in the early years
