Tell us more about your internship:
I work at a Radio Station, where I research, plan and help behind the scenes. I have also been on air myself which was super fun.
What is your favourite thing about it?
It puts my passion of ideas and media into motion, it gives me a chance to pursue my dream!
What has this internship given you?
A whole lot of confidence, being a voice on air has boosted my self-esteem. Alongside that networking has been a big part of this internship, it’s allowed me to meet new people and make new connections while also working on my communication skills.
How is your experience at SCG?
I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without this place. The course here has placed me on the right path, I’ve built up a lot of different skills. I’ve become more independent and found myself, including my voice.
Where do you want to be in the future?
There are a few things I’ve thought about doing including being a producer in the film industry, sound engineer on big movie sets or a director in any sort of media.
The end goal is knowing I’ve helped other people like me.
I love my internship, and being young in such an amazing role is incredible. I recommend trying to do an internship with SCG.
