Shrewsbury Colleges Group is pleased to announce that the industrial action planned for this week by the members of the National Educational Union has been cancelled.
The strike action was due to take place on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 February as part of the NEU’s nationwide action against the Secretary of State for Education over the lack of funding for the pay award for designated sixth form colleges like Shrewsbury Colleges Group. However, these strike days have now been cancelled by the union.
Therefore, ALL of lessons scheduled for these days will take place as planned.
