Road closure 17/01/25
Road closure affecting English Bridge and Welsh Bridge Campus college bus pick-up - ALL routes
We have been informed the road closure at Abbey Foregate, caused by a burst water pipe, will still be in place this afternoon, Friday17th January, affecting the English and Welsh Bridge pick-up.
Any students getting the Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Oswestry, Madeley or Priorslee buses please make your way to the below pick ups. Due to the heavy traffic caused by roadworks the buses will not be picking up at Barker Street for Welsh Bridge students.
Please check your route below for any changes:
- Lakeside, going to Whitchurch and Telford Madeley/Priorlsee, will now pick-up from the bus stop by Asda on Old Pott’s Way, near the traffic lights at 4:35pm. The bus will be heading away from town so please ensure you are on the correct side of the road.
- Lakeside, going to Oswestry, will now pick-up from the bus stop opposite Asda on Old Pott’s Way, near the traffic lights at 4:50pm. The bus will be heading towards town so please ensure you are on the correct side of the road.
- Boultons, going to Bridgnorth and Ludlow, will still use the Abbey Foregate stop as usual at 4:35pm and turn around in the coach park to follow the diversion to London Road.
- Celtic will now pick-up at the public toilets in the Abbey Foregate car park at 4:35pm.
