The college is advising students to consider their journey travelling to and from college and to only do so if safe.
The latest update as at 11.30am is as follows:
The college has been made aware of several issues with the local transport network due to the weather conditions. To date, we are aware that the following issues:
- Diversion on X10/X10a/X7 between Telford and Shrewsbury but the service is running
- Trains between Shrewsbury and Telford are experiencing severe disruption – alternative travel arrangements need to be made
- Transport for Wales is advising all passengers not to travel on any of its routes from Shrewsbury – alternative travel arrangements need to be made
We will contact students who are directly affected by the transport issue and advise accordingly.
Any students with concerns should contact Student Services.
The college will continue to provide updates on any issues within the travel network as we are informed. We will update parents and carers via the college’s social media channels at 1pm.
