We’re looking to recruit a new Parent Governor to join the college’s Board of Governors. We’ve produced a video with an introduction from the Former Chair of the Board of Governors, Roger Wilson, and the video provides some further details of what the role would require.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in providing strategic leadership to help the college strengthen its position as a high-quality provider of further education in Shropshire by providing your insight as a parent.
What will I need to do?
You will participate in Board meetings to ensure the smooth running of the college and you will need to commit to around four hours per month.
What support will I get?
You will receive a fully supported Induction into the role and have access to ongoing training and development.
