MySCG App

The college will be launching a new platform for all students to use from September 2022. This platform is called MySCG. It is an integrated app and portal for our students which personalises communications and consolidates access to many college systems. It runs on a desktop (college network) as well as on mobile devices as an app.

The platform will become the single reference point for you to find out about everything that is going on in the college. The platform will allow you to access resources, view your timetable, get instant news and results as well as keep up to date with events and receive admin updates. This new platform will reduce the volume of emails that we will send to students.

If you are trying to reset your password to access the MySCG app and receiving an error message, please note that you can't reset your password via the link on the Office 365 login page. You need to use PWPortal to reset your password, which you can access here.

Support for Students

If you and your family are concerned about the cost of attending college, then there are ways in which we can support you with your study and transport costs. The Student Services teams are located at each campus for a confidential face-to-face chat about the support that the college can offer. There are also helpful web pages on Financial Support and Travelling to College.

College is Cashless

Please note that the college is cashless across the three campuses. You can pay with a debit card or credit card or by Apple Pay/Google Pay and similar mobile phone payment methods. This does mean that we cannot accept cash as a method of payment for food and drinks bought at college. Please note that vending machines at the campuses do accept cash though.

You can add funds to your student ID card online so that you can pay for anything you need to purchase in college including in the cafés.

Details on how to initially add funds and how to top up your student ID card are available in the frequently asked questions webpage that we have set up along with other information about how the system will work.

This approach will also apply to paying for your trips, resources and visits as well as topping up your card to use in the cafés or elsewhere on campus.

Further details on your REMsPay account and login details on the new cashless system are available on the MySCG app.

New students and Parents/Carers can also set up and register your REMS pay account by following the instructions provided in the links below or using the guidance in the Students section on our website:

Car Parking at London Road Campus

If you’re planning to park onsite, please ensure that you get your Parking Permit from reception and provide your vehicle registration at the start of the term so that you have easy access through the vehicle barriers.

Once everyone parking at London Road Campus has had an opportunity to register their vehicles parking enforcement will start towards the end of September to prevent unauthorised use of the car parks.

Please note that there is no student parking at either English Bridge or Welsh Bridge campuses.

Parent/Carer Consent Form

All students need to ensure that the Parent/Carer consent form has been completed by their parents/carers ahead of the start of term. This form provides permission information for you to attend day/residential trips (if applicable for the course) as well as permission for students to complete work experience and placements as well as other types of work-related activities. The link to the form is here.

Please ensure that the form is submitted by Thursday 1 September.
