I came here because it offered the subject choices that I wanted. Photography is something that I have always loved doing. It helps with your confidence as you are often approaching people to get the best shot. I am really looking forward to the trip to New York that they take every year, it will be amazing. After College I want to go to University to do Events Management and I will use my Photography A Level skills to get great event photos.

Geography is an interesting subject and the teachers get you involved. I came to SCG because I wanted a change and it felt like the best option for me. It is great to learn about the world, climate change and globalisation – there is a wide range of aspects covered. After College I want to study Anthropology at university.

My sister came here and loved it – she gave it rave reviews, so that piqued my interest. PE was my best subject at school, so it was logical to carry on at A Level. You learn things you’d never expect like the history of physical activities. I’ve enjoyed learning about biology in PE and I’ve also learnt loads of great life lessons at this college.

SCG offered loads of options in the subjects I was interested in. Geology is a great course with friendly teachers. I have enjoyed learning about volcanic rock and activities and plan to continue the subject at university.

Doing Physics at A Level confirmed to me that I wanted to continue it at university. It is a challenging subject, however all the hard work is worth it and very rewarding.

I’m interested in Law and how the government works and I want to join the police after College, so Politics was a great A Level for me to do. I enjoy learning about how voting behaviours have changed through time. Politics is a rewarding subject that can be frequently used in your everyday life.

SCG was recommended to me by former students and I visited when I was in Year 10 and really liked the Graphics department. Animation has been my favourite project so far, but I also enjoy typography. The environment is very inclusive and it is creative and friendly. I want to continue in Graphic Design after College.

I took Product Design at A Level because I was inspired by my GCSE teacher. I really enjoy how hands on the subject is and using the computers to bring your designs to life. You can explore your creative side in a relaxed environment.

I took Health & Social Care because I want to be a primary school teacher. It is an assignment based course, so there is less pressure and you get to do amazing placements for hands-on experience and I went to a primary school. I will be going to study BA Primary Education after College.

Psychology is my favourite subject. I love how interesting it is and it really gives you a greater understanding of human nature. I want to study psychology at university and hopefully become a detective.
